Original Droid may make a come back?
Thought this was interesting for anyone who has the original Droid:

An email about the original DROID from the Motorola Feedback Network, now there is something I don’t think anyone thought we would ever see again. Could it be an update to Gingerbread? Maybe a simple bug fix? Maybe something to highlight the glory of the old days when bootloaders weren’t locked up like a prison and bloatware wasn’t flowing like wine? Tough to tell, but here is the email that just went out to anyone registered on the MFN with an OG:

Razor1911 Hacks for The Good Guys
The Release Group Razor1911 (mislabeled as a hacking/piracy group) has released a exe replacement for EA’s original run file so that the use who paid for the game doesn’t have to use the trojan virus that EA put into the game.
Electronic Arts’ Origin is more than just a petty attempt to undermine Steam. It’s an insidious petty attempt to undermine Steam. The service has upset gamers since it reserves the right to act like Spyware, allowing EA to dig around in your hard drive as explicitly stated in the terms of service.
The EULA says that EA can identify your computer, operating system, installed/uninstalled software/hardware, and use that information for marketing purposes while merrily sharing it with third party companies. It’s all fairly disgusting, and there’s no opt-out offer. If you don’t want EA to know everything about you and pass the information along, your only recourse is to not install Origin — which will mean you can’t play Battlefield 3 on PC at all.
